Rambling, Rambling and More Rambling!

So, I know I have not posted in what seems to be forever. I am usually really good at posting regularly, but it has been a busy couple of weeks or that I am just not that exciting of a person. Once Parker's two-day birthday bash was over, I had to start planning Ben's Graduation Party. Nothing big, just family and a few of HIS friends. I did manage to sqeeeeze in a couple of my own though, too. He will be surprised to see you!!! Really though, I felt bad because I wanted like 57 people there, and he had like 7 people on his list. But, I figured it was his day and I would be doing all the work and thought planning for 7 is better than 57. (He did invite more than 7 people....Fine 8) I was just going to do pizza and pop, but this week I have been watching my friends 2 wonderful...I mean 3. Sorry Kim. She really does have 3 wonderful children, not just 2. Anyway, we had a blast! I was talking to her husband tonight, and we were talking about Ben graduating and what a BIG accomplishment it is, and where we go from here. After about 5 minutes her youngest one comes up to me and reminds me that, "My dad is home, you can go home if you want to." I thought she must have had enough of me after 3 days, and that was my cue to leave. As we said our good-byes I thought to myself. This is a GREAT accomplishment for Ben and that he deserves a BASH! You know me and my party planning. So a sleepy Parker and I went to a couple of stores and went shopping. Nothing extravagant but a step up from cold pizza and warm pop. I feel like I am doing a lot of rambling, but I do have a lot to say.


So I have a joke I heard on the reality show, "Work Out." I am not a die hard fan, but you have to understand it is the only channel I get besides LMN in which Ben refers it to the "wife beating, child kidnapping channel." Speaking of OH, CRAP I forgot Patrick Dempsy is on that channel right now. I will have to wrap this up. Where was I? The Joke!

Why do women wear perfume and make-up? Because they stink and they are ugly. I thought it was pretty funny. Not at all true, for me anyway!! I have not really gotten into that show this season probably because this season it talks and shows more about Jackie's love life. Which kind of grosses me out. I mean I am down with the rainbow, I just do not need to see it. Speaking of...I was at my friends house today and we were talking about that kind of behavior on tv, and we got to talking about Grey's Anatomy. She missed the finale so I filled her in. Ok, I have been pining for Mark and Callie since season 3, and totally thought something was going to form here, but no, she suddenly had feelings for Erica and they totally kissed. I was yellllling at the tv. Like a man watching his favorite sports team lose a game. I was so turned off. I am so bugged that this type of thing has to be everywhere and on almost everything. And it is acceptable to people. Another friend gave me this website http://www.greyswriters.com/. and the writers blog about each episode and then freaks...including myself can comment. It seems that a lot, a lot of people were happy to see the two chicks kiss, and are excited to see how their relationship develops. There were some who were upset about the hook-up. I just do not know why is has to be on every show. Especially one of the few that I do watch. on the upside...Meredeth and Derek finally got together!! Just in case you wanted an update!

I watched the season finale of Lost last night. I was trying to figure out the whole time why this show was so great. I just couldn't. Maybe someone could help me out. Matthew Fox is on it. What was his name on Party of 5? Oh, it is on the tip of my tongue. Charlie Salinger. I was not a fan of that one either. Anyway, I am not sure what happened because I fell asleep. Maybe if I watched it from the beginning that might help.

Seriously...sorry about the rambling. I have not had a lot of adult contact the past couple of days. This is what has been on my mind. I know, nothing of real importance. I did figure out that my 1 year old son is spoiled and has his mom and dad wrapped around his fingers. He will only fall asleep is he is in our bed with one of us laying by him and will wake up in the middle of the night screammming for lots and lots of minutes, before I go in and bring him back into our bed where he is out in a matter of seconds, then it is back to his bed. Fun. Until #2 comes......No, I am not pregnant. I had you though.

Food for thought. I was at my friends house today and she showed my a spider bite on her leg. I then told her that every year we swallow 7 spiders in our sleep. Yummy! Sweet Dreams!!
