Happy Birthday!!

Today my niece's Birthday!! She is 17! I can not believe it. Brooke has been the little sister that I never had. She spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa's house growing up, so we spent a lot of time together. We would play school and when we reached a certain goal, we had a party. We would order Little Ceasers Pizza (back then it was right across the street from our house.) and we would have pop and snacks, and a movie.

I do not have a single memory of our adventures together, that does not make me laugh. Anything from trips to Adventure Land, Wisconsin Dells, Driveby's at the movies, and sledding to, what we thought would be our death. Lots and lots of memories. Brooke is one of those rare people that you can talk to about anything, and all of your secrets will be kept.

She is one of the most important people in my life and my best friend. Words can not express how near and dear I hold her to my heart. I do not know what I would do without her. Even though she is so far away, I know that one day soon we will be close again.
