Park Days!

A couple of weeks ago Parker, Grandma and I went to Park Days. It is every Thursday at 10 am and we get together and let the kids play and we women get to chat. This was Parker's FIRST time at the Park, and we had lots of fun! He loved swinging on the swings. At first he was not so sure of the whole idea, but when he saw Grandma and Mom laughing and smiling, he started to loosen up. Giggles, and smiles was all that we could see and hear.

The slide however, was a different story. he was very, very afraid to go down the slide. There is even a slide right next to it, and I went down the same time as him and held his hand and he cried the whole time....BABY!! Maybe next time!
I tired to get a picture of him playing on the play equipment but he would not cooperate. Here he is trying to look mad, but he can not help but laugh...do you see that smile starting to creep across his face? Yes, that is my boy. He goes to bed at night and wakes up every morning more grown up. He wants to do everything by himself.
