We Are Feeling Better!

I apologize, it has been a while since I have blogged you. Both Parker and I have been very sick and very busy. I think it has been this crazy weather, 30 degrees one day, 50 degrees for a couple of days, 65 degrees for a few more days, then back down to 20 degrees. I know I am guilty of just sticking Parker in the car seat with no blankets or hat because I thought, "It was warm enough." outside. I am pretty sure that is how he got what only seems to me like, the flu. Even though he got a set of the flu shots earlier this fall, they must not be 100% effective. He was out of commission for about 3 days...then I got his lovely illness, on Friday night. Saturday, I begged Ben not to go to work, but he reminded me about August 1st. and that he must go to work if I still wanted to go. So, I let him go. Parker was an angel!! He played by himself, with his toys and watched "Little People" 750,000 times. The only time I had to get up was to change him or feed him and when he fell and bumped his head. I am sure he had a field day getting into things that he knows he is not suppose to get into. But, seriously there is nothing in this house that he can really hurt. So, I just let him be. Ben got home that night and took care of Parker and had the next two days off of work, which was a blessing in itself. The boys got a lot of bonding time together!!! I am feeling much better now!! Yeah!! Parker and I are still stuffy and runny, but no fevers or sore throats. Those are the worst. I am glad we are feeling better because this weekend is Easter and I have a lot of shopping to do for Parker's Easter basket. I bought him a cute little outfit to wear on Sunday for church. It is so cute!! You will have to check back next Monday to see it and all of the excitement of the weekend.

Happy Be-lated St. Patrick's Day!
Happy Easter!

Sorry to hear that you and Parker were sick. That is the pits being sick and taking care of the kids. Ella and Nate both had influenza type A last week and Wendy and Wiston took turns taking the week off to get them healthy. The kids both lost weight! Good to see you blogging again too. Jane
