Parker and I left church early to help Grandma prepare for the Easter feast. We made ham, potato casserole, Oreo salad, toss salad, green bean casserole, jello, rolls, and Parker's hard boiled eggs. For dessert Grandma made a bunny cake and I made a chocolate cake with chocolate and caramel frosting for Aunt Lisa's birthday. We were not the only ones eating this delicious food. Aunt Lisa, Uncle Dean, Haley, and Hunter came to visit. Aunt Linette and Uncle Marc also came down from Michigan to celebrate Easter with us.
Right before they arrived Grandma had some special surprises for us. Parker got another Easter basket, filled with more of his favorite things. He got a Barney movie, an Easter ball and bunny. He also got Michael and a bunny from the Little Peoples, and some snacks of course. Teddy Grahams and goldfish crackers. Parker was very, very happy. Thank you Grandma!!
Ben got a box of skittles and m&m's and I got a scrapbook hole punch, just what I needed!!
Thanks, Mom and Dad!!!
We got Mom and Dad some beautiful Easter flowers. They looked great on the table!!
Here are some family pictures of Ben, Parker, and me. This is the best smile I could get from him all day. He used to be very photogenic, but now he is just not interested in smiling and looking cute. Maybe it is just a phase...I hope so!
* I think Parker looks just like Ben in this picture (above)!
This is the new Easter outfit that I bought for him. Compliments of the Children's Place in the mall. They have very cute clothes, and the price is reasonable. He looked very handsome. I tried my best to match Ben and I with his outfit. I think I did pretty good!!
"Mom, I just want to get down and play. Please, no more pictures."
OK, one more. Again would not look at the camera, but if you look real close there is a smile on his face as he is looking away from Ben.
Happy Easter everyone!!
Tell us what you did!!
