Thank You!

For those of you who know and see Parker on a regular basis, know that he is quite long, and has outgrown his car seat a few months ago. I went to Toys R Us, last week and picked out one I wanted. It was perfect and expensive. Ben wanted me to wait until we saved up some money, but like a little kid I did not want to wait, and like a little kid I began to pout. After an hour of begging and pleading my case, I did not win. Well...Saturday after work Ben went with his friend to Sam's Club, and he found the same brand of car seat for more than half the price, and he bought it. Parker and I were standing by the door when the car pulled up, and in came Ben carrying the car seat. I was very happy!!

Parker loves his new car seat!! He got to use it Sunday for church and to go to Grandma's house. He is now able to look around more and he loves it when we turn around and talk to him. He smiles and laughs and usually talks back. I love it because it is very cool, and it even has 2 cup holders for his drink and snacks. Mostly, I like it because I can see him better while I am driving.

I know what you all are thinking. "Why, is she getting so excited over a car seat?" Well for those of you who know me well, know that it does not take too much for me to get excited about things, especially when it comes to Parker. For me though, maybe the new car seat means that Parker is entering a phase in his life. He will be ONE in a month and a half. He is getting so BIG, and I want him to have EVERYTHING!! I know, I know! He will probably be spoiled rotten by time he does turn 1, but I figure that all of his NEW things will be used for the next baby....Not that we are expecting anytime soon!!!
