Does Color Really Matter?

Sunday night I was talking to my friend, and she was giving me a hard time because Parker has been sucking on a pink, and purple binky. I explained to her that the people who package the binky's together are not very smart, because they put the pink ones with the blue ones, or the green ones with the purple ones. I do not know why they just don't have the girl colors in one package, and the boy colors in another package. This would make things so much easier. So, the next day I went out and bought new binky's, and this time I found a red one with a white one, and thought it was better than the girly colors he had. I had misplaced his pink binky, so I gave him the red one and he gave me this sassy look, like he was thinking, "Mom, why are you giving this to me?" Well...Tuesday afternoon I went to check on him while he was napping and the red binky was on the floor, and the pink and purple one was stuck in his mouth. He must have found his pink binky and then pitched the other one outside the crib. So, what's a mom to do? does color really matter? do people make weird faces when they see boys with girl colors? Ben and I do not think it is a big deal. But, apparently some people think it is!!!! (you know who you are!!!) HEHEHE!!
