Aloha!!

I am back!! And I am already ready to go back. We had so much fun. Words can not express it. We made so many wonderful memories in such a short amount of time. It was Awesome.

First, mom and I went to Mexico to see my sister and her family. I had not seen her or her kids in 2 years and they have grown up so much.

I love this photo of Christian and Noah because even though they are very rambunctious there is also such a sweet and loving side to them. When they left they were 6 and 4. Now, they are 12 and 10. I only get to see them...maybe once every 2 years. They are not babies anymore.
Getting them to stand still for longer than 15 seconds was a challenge in itself, but getting them to stand still and smile "nice" was something else. This picture was about 20 minutes in the making.Boys will be boys!!! I can see another 2 year old fitting in quite well with these three.

After our 3 day visit we drove to California to spend the night at my sister Vicki's house before we flew out to Hawaii. As we were crossing the boarder there were people selling things on the street. My mom saw a guitar for Parker and my niece talked the guy down from $20 to $10. It was funny...she's a rock star!!

So we were not suppose to leave for Hawaii until Sat. night, but decided to try and fly standby for an earlier flight. Can you believe that all 6 of us got on an earlier flight at the same time? The flight was long, but they did play a movie..."New in Town." It was cute. And Rock and I taught our traveling buddy how to play the card game, golf. It was fun and it helped pass the time.

OUR FIRST FEW HOURS IN HAWAII.....

We arrived in Hawaii at 5pm, so that would be 10pm home time. I am a HUGE movie girl and Planet Hollywood is my favorite. They have closed a lot of them out west, but there is at least one left and we found it.

It was fun to see all of the "old" stars as Brooke called them. You know...Don Johnson, Patrick Swayze, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwartenegger, Julia Robers, Luke Perry, and many more. You do not see them around much anymore. They are what good movies used to be like. Gosh, I sound like an old person. Even though we did not see Miley or the Jonas Brothers Brooke still had fun!! and the food was amazing!

Shopping, the beach and Pina Colada's!!!

The place we were staying at was a condo, so it had a full kitchen. We planned on eating out at least once a day, but still needed snacks and stuff, so we headed to the grocery store.

When we got back from the store we walked down the the beach which was literally 2 minutes away. After a swim we relaxed on the beach soaking up the sun and sipping on pina colada's.

The Temple and Polynesian Cultural Center

We made a quick stop to see the Temple. It was beautiful!! It was under construction, so we were not able to go inside. But the view from the outside was amazing!!

Next, we drove down the street to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was fun, but it was also very, very hot. Probably one of the hottest days there.
We spent the entire day there and was exhausted by the end of the day. Here are just a few pictures from our day...

And the Luau....was not the best that I have had but it was good. We were starving by then so pretty much anything tasted good at that point. I love this pictures of all of us.
We spent a lot of time in the water and those pictures were taken with the water camera, so I can not show them to you right now. We went jet skiing, boating, and snorkeling which I must say was the highlight of the trip. Rock, Trish, Vicki and I went out in the middle of the ocean and went snorkeling with sea turtles and dolphins. It was awesome!! The dolphins were literally swimming under us, we could almost touch them. It was so beautiful. Words can not describe it. At one point I looked in the water and there were 20 of them right under my feet. It was an amazing experience!!

One night we went out for lobster. I love it!! I love sea food..well, some of it. It was also the first night I tried clams and sushi. Both were OK, but i can live if I never had them again. The food was really good!!

Our last day in Hawaii we drove to North shore and went to Waimea Falls Park. It is about a 20 minute hike and then there is a waterfall you can swim in. The scenery was something out of a story book. It was unbelievable. My card was full by the time I got into the water, so I was unable to take a lot of pictures but my sister did. Mine do not do justice on the beauty of this place....

I could have stayed for another week, but it is good to be back. I missed Parker and Ben a lot!!
