Monday night we read the book, The Gingerbread Boy, then made Gingerbread men to send to Aunt Trishia and her family. Parker loved rolling and patting the dough. He also liked cutting the GB boy out with the cookie cutter and decorating the cookies...but, most of all, he loved eating the cookies.
In Kindergarten I remember reading this story while the GB was baking and when we went back to take it out of the oven, it was GONE and we looked all over the school to find it. Yeah, I think Parker was a little young because when we tried this he just cried and said, "cookie." We had fun night together, though.
