Day-After FUN!!

Parker had so much fun playing with his new toys he got for Christmas. He loves his little people cards. He knows most of the characters names. It was exciting to see him go from one thing to the next, exploring his new toys and how they work. This Christmas has been very memorable for us. Christmas is for the kids and all about the kids. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with Parker and teach him. We have been working on our colors and numbers, so these cards will definitely come in handy.
I have an Isabel Bloom Nativity set and was tempted many times to put it up out of his reach, but am glad that I didn't. I was amazed at how quickly he picked up the names of the people in the nativity scene....Mary, Joseph, Jesus, the Shepherds, Wise Men, Drummer boy, donkey and horse. I enjoyed seeing him go over to where the nativity was and point to the baby and say, "sesus." It puts a smile on my face, butterflies in my stomach and tears to my eyes when I see that all of the "little" things that I teach him everyday pay off, and that he is actually learning. I am sure most mothers feel this way. Grandma and Grandpa also got him a little people NS, which he loves to play with every time we visit.

Parker loves his frosty and taking this video and watching it later with Ben made me realize how precious life is and how fast it goes by. I am really going to make a point to enjoy every moment with Parker, which I usually do. But, recently I have found myself counting down the hours to nap or bedtime when I can get a break. These moments won't be around forever. I need to enjoy them more!!
He is so loving and affectionate!! He is adorable when he acts like this...I love it!
