16 inches.....of fun!!!

It snowed here this week....we got 3 inches Monday night, and it snowed 13 inches Tuesday afternoon, through Wednesday morning.....and it is freeeezing!!! Because of the snow there was no school, and Grandma and Brooke took the day off. Ben also got off of work early because of road conditions.

After Parker's nap we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's, and went sledding, with Brooke and Jeremy. Parker had 3 layers of clothes on, plus snow pants and boots. My parents have a small hill in their backyard, but the snow was so high, and was still soft. Before....
After.....yes that is Parker, under all of that snow.....the sled nose dived into the snow and it flew up and on top of them.....it was funny...and cold!!! Parker, went 3 more times, then we went inside to warm up and went out for round 2, a few hours later.

When we were little we would visit my Grandma B's, house a lot. We had cousins our age and friends that would come and play, often. Grandma had a basement with all sorts of hiding places. We would always play hide-n-seek, in the dark......it was a lot of fun!!!

Parker, is really into hide-n-seek now....we thought it would be fun to play his favorite game, in the dark. So, Ben, mom, Brooke , Jeremy, and I hid and Parker helped Grandpa, count. It was a lot of fun!!! During the last round we could not find Parker and Ben (they hid together) finally, I yelled down the basement, "Parker, do you want a cookie?" "YESSS" Found them:)

Even though it was cold and snowy, we still found things to keep us entertained.....Oh, we also played SPOONS!!!! I won!!! HOLLA!!!
