Parker is really into, Curious George! He know what time it is on... morning and evening and will sit and watch....his world stops when George is on. For Christmas he got a Curious George DVD, on one of the episodes George, builds a robot costume. Parker asked everyday if he could build a robot like George, so finally we did. I had an extra box, and we found some other boxes in the recycling bin. Parker also loves to paint on his easel, so I used his art to cover the box and a strainer for his helmet. It was perfect!! He loved his new costume, and showed everyone who came to the house...his creation!!
I started teaching pre-school 2 days a week....I went in with 4 of my friends and we take turns each week teaching. Parker loves it!!! This week he learned about ice and snow, which was perfect because it snowed and iced twice. He learned about the letter Ii...shapes, colors,ect. For science he made this ice ring.....you hang it outside and as it melts, you can see the colors come through. He was so proud of it.....he picked the perfect spot to hang it.
He is thriving....he knows his shapes, colors, and letters....with an exception of a few lower case letters. He loves creating!!! anything hands on he loves!!! I am so proud of him!!
It is cold.....we try to find things to do indoors....and of course doing Parker's favorite things.....having his "people" over:) stay warm!!
