My BOY, the CLIMBER!

OK, I know I have been on a blogging kick for the last couple of days and I promise after this

blog you will not hear from me for a couple of days. Yesterday, I was at my friends house and she has a baby the same age as Parker and he has been cruisin up and down the stairs for months now, and Parker has not even attempted to climb ours. Today, is his 14 month birthday (I am not sure if you still count monthly birthdays after their one year birthday but, oh well) and after dinner I asked Parker if he wanted to take a bath, and opened the door going upstairs. Usually he puts his arms up for me to carry him upstairs but....today he took off up the stairs!!!

I was like a proud mama watching her son climb HIS MT. Everest. He kind of whined the whole way up, but was very excited once he hit the TOP!! After a few tries he got a little less afraid. He still need help down, but I am sure it will only be a matter of time before he figures that out too.

Other Things Parker is doing.....For family and friends far away:)

He is walking all over the place. Runs when I ask him to "come here." And sits when he is asked (kind of like a dog) if he wants a snack and wants to sit by Ben or me.

He has learned to climb on and off of couches, recliners, and rocking chairs.

He loves to kick the ball and has a knack for dribbling, soccer style. He loves to toss, and throw. Anything, having to do with a ball he loves.

He is quite the helper. But, has been taking the object that he is suppose to be putting away and running the opposite direction with it. I think, he thinks it is a game.

Talk, Talk, Talk!! He is quite the talker and has started saying so many words. He has an awesome personality, and always has a smile or cheesy grin on his face. (well....most of the time.)

He is quite the social bug and has made quite a few NEW friends.

4 more months and he gets to socialize with most of those friends in nursery. I take it back, maybe a handful of those friends but, I am excited to be able to actually get something out of church again. He is all over the place. Is always on the move ( I blame that on his DAD!) and wants to be out and about with his friends.

But he is CUTE! (I blame that on his MOM!!)
