CHECK!!

What a FUN week!

Monday: Went on a walk at Vanderveer Park with the family, fed the ducks, and played on the swings......CHECK

Tuesday: Walked to Vanderveer Park, played on the swings, watched the ducks swim, and watched a play by some Jr. Theatre kids in the Rose Garden. (Miss Nelson is Back) CHECK

Wednesday: Went to the swimming pool with my friend, Kim and her 3 kids and Kim's friend from the scrapbook store. It was very HOT!! I think I put suntan lotion on Parker 3 times. Parker had a rough hour but, once it got used to the water and the splashing he started having fun himself. There was a point where he was standing in the water BY HIMSELF, and kept pushing my hands away. So, I let go and he went under after that he didn't push me away again. Ever since Aunt Lisa's we are addicted to the pool. CHECK

Thursday: Went to Parker's friend, Danyo's house to play......Check

Friday: Ben and I gtt to go out for our Anniversary, Alone...... Check

Saturday: Went shopping with a friend and we both got some cool outfits....Check

Sunday: We had a couple families over for dinner. We had BBQ chicken sandwiches, baked beams, chips, dip, and potato salad, and my friends favorite dessert, chocolate chip sensation. YUMMY!!! Check


Other exciting things that have happened this week.....

Parker knows where the bottle goes after he has finished and where the diapers go after he has been changed. He has been quite the helper, insisting on being the one to carry to bottle to the fridge or the diaper to the garbage. He has been doing so much better with table food this week too. For a while he was not eating very much, but he has now made up for it. We are trying to get rid of the bottle. I am just giving him one before nap and bedtime, and it has worked so far. Keep your fingers crossed! He is getting two more bottom teeth in and has his cranky days but, for the most part he is perfect. Seriously, he loves playing with his bouncy balls and usually gets one when we go to the grocery store, he loves playing with his dog, and I do not know what will happen if anything happens to Boots. We have decided to keep him. (Brooke stop smiling!!) He is "talking" so much and this week I have really tried to listen and I think he is saying words....

And he understands everything. If you tell him to get his shoes, he will bring you his sandals. If you say, "its time to go bye, bye." he will head for the door. And if you ask for a hug, he will lay his head on your shoulder. And much more. I love him!! I love him!! I love him!! I do not know what I, we would do without him!!!

ONE MORE THING!!!!

I talked to my sister last night, Rock. There is this animated move coming out soon with, John Travolta, and Miley Cyrus. Anyway, she auditioned to be one of the people to promote the movie, and she GOT IT!!! Starting next week she will be going around to different places in the US to promote this movie. I am so excited for her, she will finally be able to pay off some bills and hopefully have some fun too!! And she will be at the Red Carpet Premiere of the movie. How cool!!! I told her to hook me up with a ticket and I will fly out there for the premiere, we will see what happens!! CONGRATS!!
