Good Times!

Last night we got together with our favorite friends, the Garner's and the Bryner's for a 4th of July BBQ at the Ford's. The Staker's came prepared with games and prizes for the kids, unfortunately Parker was a little young to participate in the 3 legged race and the watermelon eating contest but, he loved watching the other kids. We love hanging out with our friends and have been doing a lot of it since mom and dad left for sunny California and since it is the holiday weekend.I love these two men!! I do not know what I would do without my wonderful husband and busy-body Parker. They make me so happy!

Parker loves his NEW friend Danyo! It was really cute, I was talking to his mom and all of a sudden we look over and they are totally having a conversation with one another. It was the cutest thing EVER!! I can not wait until they both get a little older, I can tell that they will be good friends!

After the BBQ, we went with our friends to Dewitt (or somewhere around there) to see the fireworks. We pulled off the HWY and just parked on the shoulder and watched. They were good but, they did not seem to last very long. After everyone left, I saw some fireworks still going about a 1/2 a mile ahead so I told Ben to keep driving to see if we could see more. Right as we were pulling off to the side of the road, the finale was starting, and they were amazing. Ben managed to get video of it, but the video does not compare to watching it in person. We had a very fun night. Oh, yeah and Parker slept through the whole thing...AGAIN!!
