This really bothers me...
A couple of days ago I was talking to a long time friend of me and Ben's and were telling them that we wanted to have a little get together. Play games, eat snacks, and just have fun. The first thing she asked me was, "Who else is going to be there?" like being there with me was not good enough. Like she had to make sure that it would be worth her time.
I do not know why, but this bugs me when people do this. It has happened on more than one occasion or they want to make sure their BFF's are there and I just want to be like, "I am sorry, you can not come anymore." OR "can you cut the umbilical cord sometime soon, and do something without so and so."
Am I being unreasonable? Should I just assume that I have to invite everyone in a "group" if I just want to have a couple over? Has anyone had any experiences like this, or am I blowing this way out of proportion?
I don't know..If I got invited somewhere by a friend I would just be happy to go. I would never ask "who was going to be there". or "are we just going to... " That bugs me too.

Happens to me all of the time...I've come to terms with my boringness :) It is frustrating, but I always just try and take it with a grain of salt. I think you are fabulous!
