We tried to slow things down and get back into a normal schedule in March. Ben and I decided to do some spring cleaning and make some home repairs. We cleaned all the closets, the basement, attic, back porch and garage. We also cleaned the bedrooms. It ia so refreshing to get rid of stuff that we have been hanging onto for so many years....that have absolutely no use to us. We took truck loads to the dump, and car loads to Goodwill and threw away a lot. My dad came over last week and started helping us make minor repairs to the house....and there is still a lot to do. We hope to finish our front porch by the end of summer:)
It was fun to find memorbillia that we have kept throughout the years....and that will always be near and dear to us. It was nice to sit together and tell each other stories of our past....and reminece about the good ol' days.
We also had plenty of fun....Monkey Joes, St. Patrick Day Parade, play dates, enjoying the outdoors as the weather finally warmed up....and just spending time with family!!!!
