I've been bitten.....

I have been bitten by the decorating bug!!! I love it and look forward to when I can do a little more. It just really makes me happy. I have the living room pretty much done. I am looking for a large "P" for my wall, but other than that it is complete. Here are some pictures of what I have done.

I got this shelf from my favorite store, Meant to be, alone with some of the decorations on the shelf. The other stuff are things that I had. I really love the way it turned out. It is located on the longest wall in my living room, above the couch.

I copied this idea from a friend. Ever since I saw this in her house, I wanted to do it. She has 3 kids so each frame has a picture of each child. I could not find a cute picture of Parker and I , so they are all of Ben and Parker...for now. She has something similar to this in her living room, except she used blocks. I always loved this idea...just needed to find the right thing. I love the stars, and the frames were less than $2 each at walmart. And I just used black ribbon to hang them

sorry, the pictures are really dark....

Below, I had everything in different places in the house and brought them together and created this....

I bought the black tray several months ago and used the remaining twigs from the long shelf as fillers. The dream block, I got from a friend and the mini-scrapbook with the camera on it. And the large candle stick is something I had stuck in a closet. It sits on the speaker by the star frames.

I got this for my birthday a few years ago and dug it out of my closet....I must get tired of things and just pack them away:)

I have had this saying for a few years now.....my friend loves quotes and I told her what I was looking for....I love it!!! I also like to display my scrapbooking, so I bought these two frames at hobby lobby.

I had fun creating!!! I love walking into a store and knowing exactly what I need. I was also happy I could use some of my old "junk" and make it new again, just by putting it in a different place. I am still looking for a large "P"....let me know if you come across one!!!
