Parker-gras

My friend told me when she was younger, their birthday's seemed to last all week, like marti-gras. So, when it was their birthday week it would be their name, withs 'gras' at the end....so this week was Parker-gras!!!!

The celebration started the day before his birthday, at school. He was the helping hand and was able to bring a treat for the class...he picked, cupcakes, pretzel sticks and apple juice. He also got to put 4 candles on the cake calendar. He wanted me to come spend the whole day with him, but we compromised and I came for the last hour.

The next day was his actual birthday. I took him out for breakfast, dropped him off at a friends house for school....then we waited for 4pm....that is when we celebrated his birthday. He got to pick anywhere he wanted to eat and he chose Olive Garden...out favorite. He was so patient all day and while he waited for dad, grandma/pa to arrive....he must get his patience from dad....:)

How to Train your Dragon, was the theme for the week....and is what his cake was!

Last weekend he had a friend party. We decided to just do a boy party, so he invited all of his favorite buds. HTTYD, was the theme again...

Finally, to wrap up Parker-gras, Ben's family came into town and we went to Jungle Bungle....unfortunately I did not have a memory chip in my computer, so I had to take pictures with my dad's phone and have not gotten them yet....when I do, I will post them. The kids had so much fun, running around and playing games.....Thanks everyone, for making this time special!!!!
