ear infections, strep throat and antibiotics.....

We have been sick. Last Friday Parker, spiked a temp and complained that his ears hurt. Normally garlic drops would work but it was not doing the trick this time. All weekend he kept complaining about his ears and did not sleep much. Monday, my throat and ears started hurting.

Ben, got off from work early Monday. I scheduled a doctors appointment for Parker, and he was home early enough take him....he has severe ear infection in both ears. By yesterday I was hurtin. Ben took the day off and we headed to see our Doctor in IA City. Let me just tell you....I love the man who checked me out.....seriously!!! We had a lovely conversation!! He was a very nice man...we chatted for about 30 minutes...I know!! Then he checked me out and confirmed what I thought...strep throat. So, we are both on antibiotics and are on the mend....Parker, has just about fully bounced back. I however, may take a few more days.

Ben, was in love with the place too!!! The whole way home he kept talking about it. He was very excited, that when he noticed I was "sleeping" he called his mom and told her about it. It was very cute:)

The last couple of nights I could not sleep.....unless I was sitting upright and that was only comfortable for like 20 minutes. Anyway, I found out when all the good stuff is on TV. Last night I caught the "Who's the Boss," marathon that started at 3am. Oh, the good, wholesome shows...where did they all go? I remember watching it as a kid....and loved it. Then I caught the last half of an SVU episode, and 5 minutes of Charlie Sheen's melt down on MSNBC......"WINNING!!!" I took another 20 minute nap, 3 minutes after watching that!!

Anyway, I got to go I have a lot to get done!!! I have phone calls to make, emails to write, and appointments to make....and maybe a nap to get in before 11:30.
