Paging Dr. McCutie......

Tricks, Trunks and Treats......Friday night we took Parker Trick-or-Treating. He had quite the entourage. We started when it was still daylight, which was good because the darker it got the more frightened he became. As the night progressed when we approached a house and there was a kid with a mask on we had to wait until the coast was clear. There were a couple of houses we had to skip because once the kids were gone more came before he could get to the door. Good thing he had Grandpa and dad to protect him.

He had a great time, though. We practiced what you say when you get to the door and what you say after they give you candy. After about 5 houses he had the routine down. After each house he would say, "Next house, now." It was funny. one time a person asked what kind of candy he wanted and Parker said, "Um...let me show you." and picked one out from the bowl.

He was not a fan of masks. They didn't even have to be scary for him to get scared. But, he got a lot of candy...and had fun. That is all that counts.

Last night we had a Trunk - or- Treat at the church. Ben decided to dress up as a zombie....he did everything himself. Parker loved it, too!!

It was cold...but he had a blast running around with his friends. He got tons of candy. We took most of his candy from trick or treating and passed it out at the church. But it seemed like he got just as much if not more last night....oh, well!! more for us to eat.

We had a great week celebrating Halloween. We did so many fun things and this year Parker was able to understand and enjoy them more. I have a feeling that every year will get better and more fun or us....him. Can't wait to see what next year brings us. Oh, and happy November 1st!!!
