I have been tagged

by a friend. Here are 6 things I am grateful for.

1. My little family. I am grateful for all that my husband does to provide for our family and the patience and love that he has for me. He is a wonderful father to Parker. Every night when he arrives home Parker hides and Ben tries to find him. Then, Parker comes running around the corner and says, "BOO!" and runs to Dad. It is wonderful to see!

2. My extended family...I am not sure that is what you call them:) I am grateful for my parents and for the example of love, service and compassion they have for me and others. I honestly do not know what I would do without them so close to us. Parker loves his Grandma and Grandpa so much and always looks forward to visiting them...especially Grandpa. I am grateful for my sisters who I love so, so much. I can not wait for the day that we will all live within an hour or two of each other. They are my best friends. I am Grateful for Ben's family! Parker NOW loves when Grandpa Poock stops by on his lunch break to play for awhile. He loves his Grandma and all of his cousins and loves looking at their pictures and saying their names. We always look forward to visiting you...we wish we could do it more.

3. My 'other' family. I love my friends! There are a handful of you who are like family and I have really enjoyed getting to know you and cherish our friendships.

4. I am thankful for cameras and scrapbooks and memories. I look through them regularly and not just Parker's books, but the books from a long time ago. I love scrapping my memories, it is a journal to me. I love reminiscing about the good ol' days. It always makes me excited about the future.

5. My Parker....he might be under family:) I am so amazed at how much happiness such a small little boy can bring to one person! He is my love. My life. I have enjoyed every minute I have spent with him...good or bad. He keeps me on my toes. He makes me laugh. He makes me smile. He makes me cry. He makes me want to be a better MOM. I am forever thankful for my Heavenly Father to bless us with such a wonderful spirit in our home.

6. Restaurants....just when you thought there was a theme:) I love to go out and eat. If I had my way I would never buy groceries, I would just eat out every meal. I love dining out with my mommy. With Ben and Parker. And my friends!!
