So, when we were growing up birthday's was a huge deal....the day was dedicated to us. We usually had a friend party/and a family party separate. Since being married I have loved doing things for Ben on his birthday ad since having Parker...well, its more fun:)
We usually celebrate first on his actual birthday!!! He woke up and came down and saw presents and balloons waiting for him!! we let him open them before Ben left for work. He got a couple of play guns and handcuffs from Aunt Rock and a sword, shield, and cape from Aunt Trishia....And we don't do much of Disney movies here...we go right to the hard stuff....so he got the movie Real Steel and a Real Steel boxing game from us. Before we left on our trip Grandma and Grandpa surprised him with a bag full of things to keep him busy in the car and plane.....he also got a Frisbee and candy today:)
I took the day off of work and joined Parker at school for snack....he wanted a BIG cookie...I wish got a picture of it.....it had soccer rings for each of the kids on it.
That night we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa and Dad at Olive Garden. And a surprise visit to Build a Bear.....he got a Dr. Bear...so proud:)
On Saturday, Parker had his friend party....he invited friends from school and a couple from church...all of his BF's were there. He wanted soccer to be the theme....we played soccer bingo, pin the soccer ball in the net and musical soccer ball.
There were also snacks.....all of Parker's favorites.
Party Friends....I am happy we had more boys than girls show up...considering he asked for an all girls party....should I worry?

And the birthday boy got a little shy when he friends sang, Happy Birthday!!
We had ice cream sundae's, complete with sprinkles, candy and chocolate syrup:)
That night we celebrated with Ben's family, my Aunt Lisa and her family and Brooke and Jeremy and my parents at Jungle Bungle....complete with a soccer cupcake cake and a big cookie.
Fun with cousin's...they ran and played so hard and had so much fin together!! we love spending time with them!!
