Grey's Anatomy: The Songs Beneath the Show

What an amazing night!!!! For those who are not hardcore fans, as myself or just FYI. Grey's Anatomy is known for their music. They have some of the best songs on the show, that make scenes a little more awesome. Last season they did a musical episode, which was either loved by fans or hated....I personally loved it. Sara Ramirez, and Chandra Wilson have both been on Broadway and have amazing voice and Kevin McKidd is a singer as well. The three of them sang most of the solos and the rest of the cast did small parts here and there.

So, when I heard the cast was going to be performing the songs from the musical episode and well as songs from previous shows, for charity....I had to go. My husband was gracious enough to let me go and my sister...not a Grey's fan agreed to go with me:) I spend a few days in Mexico with her family (another post). And headed to LA for the event!!!

Sandra Oh and Eric Dane the MC's for the night and the crowd went wild when McSteamy himself came on stage:) It was great that most of the cast showed up...not including McDreamy, Big and Little Grey....But we knew that in advance. But, as much as I love those characters....there were one or two or three that I really wanted to see.....and that made the trip worth it. Two hours went by so fast....I wanted it to start all over again. I wish I would have taken video....but, I found some of my favorites on youtube.....Anyway, here are some pictures form the night.....enjoy!!

Justin Chambers...Dr. Alex Karev....this was a great performance!!! He brought 3 of his kids on stage to sing with him and they were amazing!!! His daughter sounded like Adele!!! So good!!

Sara, was awesome!!!! She looked amazing and her voice is phenomenal!!!! she had everyone on their feet!!! She was a rock star....loved hearing her perform!!!

These videos do not do justice as to how they really sounded live...it was so much better in person!!!

We were two of the many VIP members of the night...which included a Q&A with the cast!!! They are funny....and believe it or not are just like you and me:)So, we were left and front....but unfortunately.....they always looked center and right...so it was hard to get a decent picture ....a lot of side shots...but I guess it is better than nothing:)

The night was amazing....so worth it!!! an experience I will never forget!!!!
