Fight Like A Girl Crop....take 1

This year I was able to go to the Fight Like a Girl Crop. It is a fundraiser for breast cancer. The crop started at 10am and went until 11pm. I had to leave for about an hour to coach Parker's soccer game...he scored a goal.) but went to work when I got back. For me scrapbooking is a form of therapy....I think we all have something we do to relieve the stress and this is my thing. And I love having 11 hours to do it. Here are some layouts that I completed....some are done, but need pictures so stay tuned. Some of them are from last year, and this year....I am trying to clear them from my computer and put them in folders when I am done scrapping them....anyway, here you go.

Playing and dancing in the rain is one of our favorite things to do.

This picture was taken in the summer of 2010. Parker invited his friend to a movie in the park...which was moved to the...um, where they ice skate and have indoor soccer/football?? because of bad weather. The movie....Monsters Vs. Aliens.

I completed this layout 4 years ago at another crop my friend worked at. This was her favorite thing to give away.....I just haven't had the right pictures to put in it. these were taken at the beach, at the P......camp out.

Happy New Year 2011

Parker loves dogs...he has asked Santa Claus for the past 2 years for a dog....and asks us on a regular basis. Ben's parents, brother and sisters all have dogs....so, he is in heaven when we visit. Aunt Wendy, brought her dog Lacy, to the family camp out and it was a rarity that you saw Parker without Lacy.

Valentine's Day 2010

I had a lot of fun at the Fight like a Girl Crop!!! I saw some old friends and made new ones. I like going to these events alone....I like to work alone and I don't like the feeling of having to talk and entertain my company.....that sounds a little anit-social...but that is what I like. Next time I might bring my peeps....then I might win contests:) But I did win some fabulous patterned paper, and other goodies. Now it is time to put it all away until the next crop....or at least for a few days:)
