Campouts with family!!!

We had a wonderful weekend!!! We love doing little mini-vacations and spending time with family. This weekend was the annual P, campout. We headed an hour west. We arrived at my friends house late Friday night. Saturday morning Ben, woke up and met the guys for a golf game. My friend, Parker and I headed out to do a little shopping. We got some great deals and cute 'back to school' clothes for Parker. That afternoon Ben picked us up and we headed to the camp ground.

I am not a huge fan of camping. I don't like the heat and I hate bugs and all insects that crawl. But....Ben's parents were gracious enough to let us stay in their air-conditioned camper with them. Sigh:)

We hit the beach shortly after our arrival. Not a huge fan of lake water, but it kept us cool. Here are some pictures I got of the boys playing.

He loved splashing in the water.....and playing in the sand, but his favorite part was being thrown in the air and crashing in the water.

He also loved spending time with his cousin's and their dogs.....you could not get him away from their dogs. And I thank them for all of their patience. He also could not get enough treats!!

All of us really had a lot of fun. The weather was perfect and the company was even better. We can't wait for next year!!!
