A couple of years ago, we carved pumpkins at our friends house. Parker was just about 18 months. I was always used to carving a jack-o-lantern for Halloween, but my friend's kids introduced me to a whole new world of carving.....apparently you can get pumpkin stencils and create your own face. So, every year since then we have used the stencils.....and this year was not different.
Brooke came over and we went to work...the small one is Parker's and he made a bat...with a little help, Ben was boring:) and took to long to carve his pumpkin so we did a jack-o-lantern....but me....I made a pirate....not just an ordinary pirate, but Captain Jack Sparrow....it was cool. It was awesome.....it broke the first night I put them out. I was so bummed...almost in tears:) It took me forever to carve it, and it was ruined.....didn't even get a picture. I was tempted to go and buy another pumpkin, but decided all of the work was not worth it for a day....so you will just have to take my word on it.....it was pretty cool:) sniff...sniff!!
