Last weekend was the annual Quad-City Bix. The Bix is a 7 mile run/walk where people from all over the world come to participate in. Ben's brother came from Kalona with his family to run. The night before the Bix they hold a Jr. Bix for kids....Parker and his 3 cousin's ran in the race.
All week we practiced running, we even went out and bought new running shoes. He did great....he crashed in the middle of the race, but jumped up and finished. We were so proud of him. He is at the age where he wants to do everything, everyone else is doing....he is getting so big. He was happy to be able to run in the Bix with DAD:)
