Third Grade!!!

My parents moved here a couple of weeks before they began their LDS mission.  We missed them so much!!! We spent the day in Farmington at an outdoor shopping mall.  We are so happy for them and know that the Lord will bless them, for their willingness to serve Him!!!! Grateful for their example.

Summer quickly came to an end, and it was time for the school year to begin.  My little boy was about to start THIRD grade.  Here he is with his teacher.
And he thought it was way cool that he got his own locker:)

It was hard to decide on the right school for him.  We thought we had a good one picked out, but after talking to some friends we decided to put him into another school.  It is a private charter school, about 12 minutes from our home.  Another family in our ward has kids that attend, so we carpool with them. It has been a great school for him so far. He is getting straight A's and one B.  I personally feel that it is not as challenging as his old school in Iowa, and a lot so far this year has been a review for him.  But he still enjoys it.  He has met a lot of friends, and has been labeled "The Class Clown." I am not sure how I feel about that:) The girls love chasing him, too!!! but to him they are "annoying" and would rather play with his buddies.

And since it is a private school, he does have to wear a uniform.....Here he is on his First day of School!!!! Love him so much! And his sister still misses him while he is gone all day!!!
