My life is not all that exciting....it revolves mostly around the kids, husband, church and school....it is not filled will craziness, yet. We are a pretty laid back bunch and like to spend most of our time at home, in our sweats playing games or watching movies....This is what most of November looked like.
Lexie has grown up quite a bit since last November. She is walking and saying words and has a mind and personality of her own....she has her dad and brother wrapped around her tiny fingers, and know just what to do to get what she wants from them. Parker loves having a little playmate too. This has been happening more and more the last few months. Did I mention he loves having someone to play with. Whatever he does he includes Lexie and even though she may not have a clue what he is talking about she always responds with, "yeah!" Anything from building forts, to stacking blocks or making things from legos. She loves playing swords with him and making animals sounds with his toys as they fight each other in battle. I love hearing them talk to each other as they play together....it brings so much joy to my heart....not so much the screaming that can occur:)Lexie entertains herself for the most part when Parker is at school....although she does miss him and is so excited when it is time to pick him up from school. She can usually be found stacking blocks or playing with her babies.....
trying to put on a diaper....
giving her a drink....
One of her favorite snacks is Captian Crunch Berries...but she will only eat the berries. I have caught her feeding the crunch part to the dog....so she could get more berries. And loves to sit on or in any thing that is bigger than her....

Parker has struggled a little in science class the last year and the beginning of this year...he has worked so hard, binging his book home and studying his flashcards and doing extra work to understand and bring up his grade. We have worked hard together....but I commence his hard work....it definitely paid off. He is now getting an "A" in science and we celebrated his 100% science test with a treat at McDonalds.
November also brought us our first snow storm and Parker was eager to help dad shovel the sidewalks.
Parker's school has "Grandparents Day" right before Thanksgiving vacation. He loves to show Grandma and Grandpa his classroom and show off his work. He loves introducing them to his teacher and friends and shows them his daily routine. We love grandparents day and am excited that ours are right down the street from us....we look forward to maybe another set of Grandparents joining us next year:)
After a visit to the classroom the kids put on a concert for all the Grandparents and then they had refreshments. I went early to help set up refreshments and Ben happened to have the day off, so they joined us later for the concert and snacks.
The next day was Thanksgiving and I wish I would have taken more pictures. We celebrated at my parents house with my Aunt and her family and Brooke and her family. This is a rarity of Parker playing by himself... I couldn't resist a picture.
And this picture of Grandma and Lexie.....I am so grateful for my family!!!! My kids and my amazing husband...Love you all!!!
