a few more weeks left.....

So, I was just looking through some older posts and realize I do not have any of this pregnancy.  I swear I have started 10 posts, but half way through feel like I am just complaining....so I erase them.  So, I am going to make this attempt number 11....random thoughts and feelings....

We are having a GIRL!!!! we are all so very excited!!!! Even Parker...however he asked me the other day if we could make the baby a boy instead....sorry:)

I have about 9 weeks left and I am doing great!!! besides the whining and complaining that my husband has to endure, I think all is great.  I have really been fortunate because I have not been sick or nauseated.  Every so often "She" won't like what I eat or my gag reflex will act up...then I find myself running to the nearest bathroom, sink or garbage can....but other than that I can't complain.

This pregnancy has been totally different from my first! so, in some ways it feels like the first.  I am tired all the time and at times feel bad that I waste much of my morning sleeping or laying around, when there is so much to be done around the house....but I get over that feeling quickly:)

I love feeling the baby kick....it is one of the best things in the world!! The other day Parker felt her kick and said, "Whoa, that was like so hard!!"  sometimes I think she is trying to kick her way out.  I guess it won't be too long until she joins our family....

In the beginning of the pregnancy we talked about the baby a lot and sensed a little jealousy from Parker, so we backed off a lot.  We usually let him bring her up....and we love hearing Parker talk about her....yesterday on the way home from church he said, "Do we have to take that baby every where we go?

ME:  Yes!
Parker: OH. Why?
ME:  Well, when Daddy and I go someplace do we just leave you at home by yourself?
P:  No.
Me:  OK.  She will be a part of our family so she will go every where we go or we will get a babysitter for her.
P:  Well, when I am 12 I am going to stay home by myself.
Me:  Good...then you can babysit for us.
P:  (Expression was priceless)

I love doing that to him:)

Well, I am going to take a nap clean now!!!
