Spring....

A few weeks ago Ben finally got us a "professional" camera:) which makes me very happy. I have been playing around with it and it is pretty cool. I love taking pictures....so this camera is very exciting for me....

This spring has been very eventful for us....from my trip to California and Mexico to celebrating Easter with family, to birthday celebrations.....We have had a blast. We are very blessed to have been able to enjoy so many of these opportunities together....here is a glimpse of April!!!

Yesterday, we celebrated Ben's 33rd birthday at Olive Garden....a family favorite restaurant!!!
Over the weekend my mom turned 60!!! My Aunt Lisa came into town and we spent the day shopping and talking. We met the rest of the family at Azteca for dinner!!! My mom is amazing....truly an amazing woman. I have learned so much from her...she is my best friend and am grateful we live so close together...I don't know what I would do without her!! love you mom!!

Easter Weekend.....sorry these pictures are a little out of order....

We celebrated Easter at my parents house...My Aunt Lisa and her family came down...it was a lot of fun. We had an amazing dinner, dessert and then played games. This is another reason I love being close to home.


Sunday morning before church: Parker and his Easter basket!!!

We continued our tradition of omitting the "Easter bunny" from Easter. Ben and I fill his basket up and tell him it is from us...We try to keep it Christ centered....but always put a few snacks/treats inside. He has been working so hard to memorize the 13 articles of faith...so we got him a book to help him out...a couple of quite sacrament meeting activities and a CTR ring, which he loves and wears everyday to school...he says it helps him "choose the right". And it would not be complete without candy, gum, and mints:)

I love this picture! I can't believe how grown up he looks....he looks like a mini-missionary!!! This picture captures is personality....he is a fun-loving, spirited boy...who loves living life.

I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the perfect life that he lived, serving and teaching others. I am grateful for His atonement for my sins, it brings peace to my mind that through his sacrifice for me I can live again. I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ... and sealing power that makes families...forever. I am grateful to be sealed to my parents and sisters as well as my husband and child. I know that we are an eternal family!!! All because of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
