Camping 2009!!

We had another busy weekend. This time we spent our time outdoors camping...well, sort of. We arrived at Grandma's at 10pm and went right to bed. The next morning Ben went golfing and Parker and I slept in...we had a rough night. Grandma's house is a fun house...she has everything. We played out on the swings and the slides and played on all the bikes. We also spent quite a bit of time in both the toy roomS. I hope we got everything put back in the right place:)

Then we had lunch and took a nap. When Ben came home from golfing we packed up and headed to the campground. The first thing Parker wanted to do was, go to the beach with his cousins. He has never been to the beach before and was very hesitant at first, but he quickly warmed up to the idea. He loves the water!!

After our swim we went back up to the campground and Parker shared a snack with Alivia....cookies.

They we made t-shirts! Right across the road there was a playground. Parker loved playing with the kids. One batch of kids would leave and another would come. He loved the attention and I got a chance to read my book...yes, I read a little.

Later that night we went to Dairy Queen and Parker got a chocolate cone in a cup.
The next day we had a big breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon and there were even donuts.







It was a hot couple of days, but we managed to keep a little cool in the water and shade. The heat never kept this little one still. He was still as active as ever. He kept himself busy the whole time.
